Golden Bloom@ the Hannover Theatre

I've been following these guys since before their band had a name (in fact, I remember the show when Shawn officialy unveiled the Golden Bloom moniker) and I gotta say that it was great to see them play in front of 3000+ people. And even though I've stop counting how many Golden Bloom shows I've seen at this point, this show still had a few firsts: first show I've seen with Scooter on drums, introduction of a couple new songs, and first time that I more excited to see Golden Bloom than Guster.

When I downloaded all of these pictures onto my laptop, I was very disappointed in myself - they were very red. Very red, as in, red was the only color, every bit of digital detail was in red, and everything that wasn't in detail was also very red. So I wound up Photoshopping each and every shot individually and artifically recreating the color in these pictures. The final product probably isn't very close to what the show looked like, but at least something was done to make them look viewable. As soon as I'm done uploading these pictures to my various sites and profiles, I'll be sure to create a page where everyone can compare the before and after versions of some of these pictures. Photoshop is extremely powerful, and I'm so glad that I keep getting opportunities like this to learn more and more about photography and digital media creation.

Thanks to Golden Bloom, the crew at the Hannover Theatre, and of course our friend Shawn.
